Nothing But Sheep

That is all you Runners are. Following those with the charisma or alleged intelligence to lead you around. Robbie Boy, Zero, M, and Strahm fit the bill for the most part. Thus there is a small army of Runners emulating them. Why do I bring this up? Because this is the only reason any Proxy should really fear Zero. Runners who believe in Zero's ideals and are tracking down other Runners and Proxies. Amusingly enough Zero seems to have absolutely no idea that they exist. Oh well. If he did know, he would just kill them all anyway. Maybe. His body count is less than impressive, and his victories in straight up combat are not very intimidating.
Since I assume Zero is watching this blog, and I LOVE watching people become conflicted... Zero, if you were REALLY dealing damage to Him, or His servants, why did He stop Rika from killing you? The answer: You are dealing more damage to Runners than any proxy ever before has. You are their Hero and quasi-messiah, and now you are hunting them down, trying to kill them for simply being victims of a horrific monster. The average Proxy is a mindless puppet, a faceless goon, or an obviously evil psychopath. Redlight, Rika, Conaghan, Alder, Al(x)ne, ME... We were hated from the very beginning. But you. You were loved and respected. Now just another tool for Him. You have hurt them in ways WE never could have. And I thank you for it. Zero, the Greatest Proxy who ever lived.

  1. Zero Facts: Everyone morning Zero gets his breakfast by strangling a kitten and the eating it. When Zero wants to ask someone a question, he punches them in the face until they give him an answer. Zero attacked PSN. ZERO INVENTED THE LAUGH TRACK!

  2. If the Runners are sheep, you must be a goat, Morningstar - you eat whatever comes to you and make mindless charges against the first thing you see.

  3. Goats are actually much more intelligent than sheep, so I'm not sure what you're trying to prove there.

  4. Hahahaha! Ok Steward, I'll accept your peace offer just on the basis of that comment to the poser.

Morningstar, I've said before, I could really learn to like you, sugar. Warner Bros. style violence interspersed with bursts of brilliant insight. That's the kind of combo that will take you far.

  5. I'm not talking about intelligence, I'm talking about activity. That's what goats do. Even if they have secret underground societies, even if they've cured cancer, goats still eat whatever comes to them and make mindless charges against the first thing they see.

And - BRILLIANT INSIGHT? Hell's bells...

  6. Interesting. I have only heard one other refer to those of the game as sheep and not rabbits. Course, you are a sheep too in his philosophy.

The more posts I read from you the less I think you are insane. Deluded and unstable fits. You are a curious one, MorningStar.

  7. Killjay types away but all that comes out is blah blah blah look at me I want attention so I'll pretend to be someone important blah blah blah. Why can't more of you be interesting like the ShadyLady there?

  8. Morningstar isn't exactly how people think of him on the Internet in Real Life(kind of close in my opinion but meh). Then again, I didn't get to spend that much time with him, leaving a day after that whole Hesperus business was done with, ect. But still, from that day of interactivity I can vouch for what Shady Lady is saying, he's not THAT crazy.

  9. <--- Hardly an interesting one.

    Appreciated nonetheless, Rika, dear.

In any case, I was typing on my poke screen phone (does not compute this technology!) so... About the goat thing. I think MorningStar would be more of a fox, they are more crafty than intelligent, but he does possess some creativity, so I'm giving props he would fit more in the "brilliant" section. Before I get assaulted by people suggesting otherwise let me say this:

There are intelligent people, the scientists, the geniuses. Then there are the brilliant people, creative and clever. Then there are the smart people, who are the average kids from school, did well, never aspired much.

I really wish I could remember where the hell I heard that from, but it doesn't matter. MorningStar makes for an interesting subject because despite his unstable little self he's still aspiring, he's clever and somewhat creative as well. He's smart enough to know certain things, and even understand others, which adds to it. But at the same time lacks any real understanding in the psychology/human persona and the likes. You can't slap on "insanity" without understanding it and the concept. Insanity doesn't give respect, it doesn't give a fucks worth about anything. It just is. MorningStar has more characteristics than what insanity is.

He's not a goat. He's more of a fox. But at the end of it, I will agree with my dead enemy that we are all sheep in this game. And only one is the shepherd. Course', that's not going to last long. We've got fluff power to spare.

  10. Agreed. I have no idea where CHARGES AT THE FIRST THANG IT SEEZ LOL thing came from. Yes Morningstar has made threats to any runners that post on his Blog. But do you know how many Runners the average proxy terminates or leaves to his/her allies? A lot. We don't like it when someone hogs all the murder, and we really tend to only blog about our Kill Count when the targets themselves have Blogs(to taunt any allies or friends. I myself have mentioned Runners without Blogs to explain why I've gone off.) Anyway, you think we would tolerate Morningstar killing every civilian he sees? No. It draws too much attention. There's a difference between killing many and killing everything. And back on point, do you think he can kill every runner? No there'd be a backlash, some Proxies form a sadistic sort of bond to their target, and want certain kills to themselves.

  11. I understand that easily. While I'm not a Runner and cannot accurately say "RUN LIKE THE FUCKING WIND!" I can gather their emotions and thought process fairly well. Survival runs along many of the same lines with people. MorningStar does not fit the mass murderer proxy criteria, I've only encountered two that have so far fit that. Only ones exists now. He reaches out to his prey and enemies, as we can see in these posts, there is a bond that is there. Sadistic? It could be towards some. It comes off more of a rivalry with others.

At least there is common sense not to "tackle fucking everything" or in his case, "maim fucking everything". Otherwise, he would already have been found out. People are ignorant, but once a person starts drawing in attention it becomes a hot spot. He would have so many fighters aiming weapons at him had he gone around shooting everyone in the face.

Which would have probably left me without much fun. He's rather entertaining.

  12. In addition to what you said, when you tackle fucking everything it just gets old and dried up. I've actually made friends with several of the targets my Master haunted under the facade of the ''new kid on the block'', before revealing my true colors. And I have to tell you, the reaction you get from some shit like that. Worth the time and effort of the facade.

  13. Wearing a mask over your mask? Mind fuckery is a technique I used to use often. It's incredibly handy for many reasons. Very easy way to get in and get out of others lives. Unless you're not good at figuring people out, then it's just a game of patience. Your switching roles trick is one I'm familiar with, not as impressive as some others but entertaining nonetheless. You wouldn't believe how many proxies are trying that now-a-days. Amusing.

So, dear Nil, just what is your favorite technique then?

  14. My favorite technique?

Crushing hope. Not to pieces either, I mean until there is nothing left. I like to do that. It makes me think of myself as almost vampiric, when someone has their hope taken away it makes me feel hope-full. I did this to Gabriel and Michael Blake on behalf of the very same guy who runs this Blog. I mocked their attempts to stop/escape me throughout their entire little roadtrip. I thought berating Mike after I killed his younger brother would get the trick done on him. Long story short it didn't, and sadly Morningstar had to pick up were I left off. Needless to say I was ashamed for a time.

  15. So you like the word play more-so. Seems to fit well enough. Taking hope away is a dominance technique, feeling like a vampire or vampire-related is understandable when you say it that way. Makes you feel hopeful, eh? Curious. So you too form a bond but one less personal than what MorningStar does. It sounds more like a parasite technique, in all honesty, but hope is important to many it would seem.

I heard about the brothers. Watched the updates from here. Seems like pairs are going down more often, shame. Have to rework some things then to try and prevent that in the future.

  16. To be honest though, Morningstar severely crippled Gabriel, which is why I felt ashamed. There was no pride in killing that boy.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Pride only takes a person so far. I lack much pride, there-fore I look more on the outlook one of ours was lost. Such as, if an enemy was crippled when I found them I wouldn't feel ashamed when I chained them down and interrogating them. You're merely more sensitive in that area, which isn't a problem. You like feeling like you accomplished something.

  18. interrogated'.
    Pardon, distracted.
